This past weekend, Club Nautic Vilassar de Mar has successfully organized the first ever Copa Catalana Wing Foil. The increasing interest for this sailing discipline along the Catalan coast has made inevitable the organization of the first edition of a competition of this kind in our home waters, the coast of Barcelona.
The event has nicely run during Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October 2022 at the beautiful venue of Club Nautic Vilassar the Mar, which has delivered unbeatable conditions for an exciting competition. The Wing Foil competition has been part of the Wing Foil Weekend, which included several social activities for all participants.
Turtl Project could not miss the excellent opportunity of participating at such event at our home waters to continue our mission of taking care of our oceans. We have been part of the material showroom with a dedicated tent presenting and explaining our portfolio of sustainable watersports apparel to all curious participants. Both our Galapagos Wetsuit and our Skeleton Impact Vest have been the star of the show, attracting the attention of the amazing community of ocean lovers we had this weekend.
Copa Catalana Wing Foil 2022 marks the start of the cold weather season in the Northern Hemisphere for us, and we couldn’t be happier about the impressive support we received from all participants.
